(Scottsdale, Ariz.)—MiCamp Solutions is pleased to announce that is has acquired Express Payment Solutions, a California-based Fiserv ISO. The acquisition was completed in conjunction with MiCamp’s Joint Venture partner, Twenty20 Payments.
Express Payment Solutions is a premier provider of payment solutions and processing services in the United States. The strategic acquisition provides MiCamp Solutions a greater market share of the California market.
The mutually beneficial partnership will realize synergies between the companies moving forward. Express Payment Solutions’ merchants will have the ability to utilize MiCamp’s innovative WAVit solution, a revolutionary platform that allows merchants to reduce their credit card processing fees to zero, providing them with significant cost savings, in addition to the MiPayment Choice Gateway, which is first to market to accept Venmo, PayPal, WeChat Pay, Alipay, China UnionPay, Crypto Processing, and Consumer Finance, with Zelle to be available shortly.
“The California market is a part of our strategic plan, and there is no doubt we will immediately create a huge impact for the Express Payment Solutions’ merchants. We set merchants up for success by not only eliminating their processing fees but by also offering a variety of tender types for their customers to pay; it is a proven revolutionary recipe for success,” says Micah Kinsler, President of MiCamp Solutions.
"After developing a friendly relationship with MiCamp over the last few years, we are excited to be partnering in an M&A capacity with MiCamp and are confident they will be carrying on the legacy which we built with Express Payment Solutions,” says Kurt Barin, owner of Express Payment Solutions. “With MiCamp's in-house support, product suite, software capabilities, and pricing advantages, we are comfortable knowing our merchants are in great hands moving forward."
MiCamp was recently listed on the Inc 5000 for its third year, and in addition to WAVit, its software capabilities, high risk, and below-industry standard pricing were influencing factors in the sale.
For MiCamp, the acquisition represents an integral part of its overall M&A growth strategy, which includes partnership structures including full acquisition, partial acquisition/go-forward mergers, and rollups.
