A private process, by design.

Seven steps, identified to funded.

MiCamp is not an open funding marketplace. We identify software companies, verify the opportunity, determine the appropriate relationship, and work directly with the company from there.

01

We find software that stands out.

MiCamp actively evaluates software companies across vertical markets. When a company gets our attention, we identify the appropriate decision-maker and may reach out directly.

02

We verify the opportunity already identified.

An invitation leads to a private 20-to-30-minute funding verification conversation with the person authorized to evaluate the capital. The purpose is to confirm the company, the opportunity, and the information required to determine appropriate next steps.

03

We determine the appropriate relationship.

If the opportunity moves forward, MiCamp determines whether the relationship is best structured as ESS, Embedded Seed Software, or ESF, Embedded Software Funded. There is no public self-selection tool.

04

The opportunity becomes specific.

If both sides choose to move forward, MiCamp provides the applicable private terms and documents the relationship directly with the software company. Capital commitments, expectations, protections, requirements, and support are defined there.

Your agreement contains the details. The website doesn’t.

05

The relationship moves from agreement to execution.

MiCamp and the software company complete the technical and operational work required to activate the relationship. Implementation details, API documentation, and access are provided privately rather than published openly.

06

Capital goes to work.

Once the applicable requirements of the private agreement are satisfied, MiCamp deploys the capital associated with the relationship. The company can then put those resources behind continuing to build and grow the business, subject to the terms of the agreement.

07

The relationship can grow from there.

For selected ESS and ESF relationships, MiCamp may activate additional marketing, growth, and distribution resources designed to help the software company build momentum in the market.

Additional support is determined privately and is not a condition of the capital opportunity.
