Two private paths for exceptional software
MiCamp works with selected software companies through two private funding relationships. Both are designed to put capital and resources behind software companies we believe have the potential to lead and grow.

Embedded Seed Software
Built for what could be next
Embedded Seed Software (ESS) is a private MiCamp relationship for selected software companies we believe have meaningful potential and are positioned to work toward a deeper embedded relationship.
The relationship can include growth capital and support as the company progresses through the requirements defined privately with MiCamp.
Where appropriate, MiCamp may also work alongside the software company on positioning, marketing preparation, sales materials, and approved market activation.
The specific structure, requirements, and support provided through an ESS relationship are determined privately with each selected company.

Embedded Software Funded
When MiCamp decides to go deeper
Embedded Software Funded (ESF) is MiCamp’s deeper software funding relationship for selected companies we believe are positioned for meaningful growth and scale.
An ESF relationship can bring together capital with broader MiCamp capabilities designed to help exceptional software expand its opportunity.
For selected ESF relationships, that may include marketing strategy, co-branded materials, campaign support, launch activation, market visibility, growth, and distribution support.
Each ESF relationship is structured individually and documented directly with the software company.
Two private paths. One philosophy
ESS and ESF are not off-the-shelf funding products. They are private relationships built around selected software companies and the opportunities MiCamp sees in them.
- Back exceptional software.
- Preserve founder ownership.
- Put resources behind growth.

Which relationship applies is determined privately by MiCamp.
Funding amounts, qualification formulas, milestone structures, technical mechanics, and detailed program economics are not published online.
Keep the upside you’re building.
Your software company should become more valuable because it grows, not because you gave part of it away to get there. Specific commercial terms are defined privately in the applicable agreement.
MiCamp does not take equity in your company.
MiCamp does not take a board seat. Your ownership stays yours.
MiCamp does not take a share of the SaaS fee you charge your customers.
Strong relationships need clear boundaries
Where partner protection is part of a MiCamp relationship, it is documented directly in the applicable agreement. Specific protections depend on the relationship and remain private.

Capital can be the beginning of the relationship
For selected ESS and ESF companies, MiCamp may complement capital with privately determined growth, marketing and distribution support to build visibility, strengthen market position, and reach more customers. Capital stands on its own, and additional support varies by company.

Support designed to help the company strengthen its position, build momentum, and capitalize on the opportunity we see together.

Depending on the relationship, MiCamp may support co-branded sales materials, campaign development, launch planning, digital promotion, product demonstrations, webinar content, and market visibility.

For selected relationships, MiCamp may bring optional additional reach designed to help exceptional software expand its presence.
